A technique is presented for the radio imaging of low-orbit space vehicles
with the help of narrow-band radio signals. The technique is based on the m
ethod of inverse synthesis of radio holograms using variation in the object
aspect angle during its motion along the orbit. Resolution of the method w
as estimated and experimental conditions were obtained based on the numeric
al simulation of the radar experiment. The radio image of the Progress spac
e vehicle obtained from the radar data is presented.
