Abstract
Two specimens of Vanneaugobius dollfusi found among ichthyological material of the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries, Split and two specimens do nated to the Natural History Museum Rijeka provide the first positive recor ds of this species in the Adriatic Sea, and the second record ever for this species.
