Problems in the information support of spaceborne, ecology-oriented optical observation systems

Terms are formulated for the solution of problems associated with object an d background data support for remote investigation systems. Requirements ar e discussed for a database of the reflection and radiation properties of ob jects and background, constructed in support of a spaceborne, ecology-orien ted remote investigation system. Methods and equipment are described, and r esults are given from measurements of the surface reflection and radiation properties of objects and background in relation to the given information s upport program.
