Abstract
The surface photo-oxidation of polypropylene in presence of different three antioxidants such as Sanduvor PR-31, Sanduvor 3944 and Tinuvin 770 has bee n studied by high resolution ESCA. The results show that the additives are effective in protecting also the su rface of the material and that, within the three, Sanduvor PR-31 seems to p erform better than the others in terms of decreasing the level of the oxida tion after the aging.
