The Next Linear Collider (NLC) will provide an excellent tool for prob
ing the detailed nature of the top quark. By extending the recent anal
ysis of Dokshitzer, Khoze, and Stirling, we perform a preliminary exam
ination of the influence of an anomalous chromomagnetic moment for the
top, kappa, on the spectrum of gluon radiation associated with ttBAR
production. In particular, we analyze the sensitivity of future data t
o nonzero values of kappa and estimate the limits that can be placed o
n this parameter at the NLC with center of mass energies square-roots
= 500 and 1000 GeV.
