Abstract
A genetic algorithm has been applied to the harmonic-balance analysis of no nlinear microwave circuits. The algorithm does not require a Jacobian matri x, and therefore dispenses wit the need for derivative information and a go od initial guess. Results are presented for a circuit containing a square-l aw nonlinear resistor. (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
