Abstract
The interaction of linear and cross-linked polyacrylic acid (PAA) with poly vinyl ether of ethyleneglycol (PVEEG) has been studied in ethanol, isopropa nol and their mixture. Formation of interpolymer complexes (IPC) in solutio ns is accompanied by aggregation of compact particles. Gels of PAA undergo shrinking in solutions of PVEEG.
