The results of calculations of the total and partial photoionisation cross-
sections of neutral Europium and its ions in the photon energy range from t
he threshold up to 270 eV are presented. The calculations were performed wi
thin the multi-channel Spin-Polarized Random Phase Approximation with Excha
nge. The main attention is given to the giant autoionizing resonance associ
ated with the 4d --> df discrete transition to vacant states in the 4f(7) s
ubshell. The comparisons with experimental data obtained recently and the r
