Abstract
The possibility of phase-transfer N-alkylation of 1H-benz[de]isoquinoline-1 ,S(2H)-dione (naphthalmide) and benz[cd]indol-2(1H)-one (naphthostyril), ca talyzed with tetraalkylammonium nitrates, was studied.
