Abstract
A model of contact between an electrode and a MF-4SK membrane in sulfuric a cid solutions is studied by the impedance method. It is shown that a layer of higher electrolyte concentration forms near the free electrode surface i n heavily diluted solutions. The layer ensures participation of this surfac e in the electrode process. Electrical fields in the region of contact betw een the membrane and a current collector are calculated.
