Abstract
Methods for theoretical prediction of deuterium recovery from the separatio n of water-isotope mixtures in a batch-type thermal diffusion column have b een introduced. Theoretical predictions are found in fair agreement with th e experimental results. Most of the predictions give higher values of separ ation than experiments. Predictions based on the constant and linear approx imations for the pseudo product form of concentration are very similar and have better agreement with experiments than those based on the third type o f approximation.
