Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to explore the Confucian ideal in constructing a humanized organizational culture. Through the review of the two influent ial organization theories, systemic and mechanistic, this paper suggests th at the Confucian ideal can promote a humanized organizational culture. The core notions of Confucianism are explicated and a deliberate inquiry toward s the Confucian ideal is suggested. It needs to be grounded on a precise un derstanding of the core Confucian notions.
