Abstract
We discuss certain special cases of algebraic approximants that are given a s zeroes of so-called effective characteristic polynomials and their genera lization to a multiseries setting. These approximants are useful for the co nvergence acceleration or summation of quantum mechanical perturbation seri es. Examples are given and some properties discussed.
