Abstract
A series of imidazo[1,2-c]pyrimido[4',5':6,5]pyrano[3,2-h]quinolines have b een prepared from 2-amino-3-cyano-4-aryl-6-dimethylaminosulfonyl-4H- pyrano [3,2-h]quinolines (1a,b) via reactions of 1a,b with ethylenediamine and cyc lization of the resulting intermediates 2a,b with ortho ester, aldehydes an d ketones.
