Abstract
We present a case of cobalamin deficiency in an elderly woman who presented with peripheral neuropathy without evidence of anemia or macrocytosis; her diagnosis was suspected with cervical magnetic resonance imaging. This ima ging modality may identify patients with cobalamin deficiency who have neur ologic abnormalities with normal hematologic parameters. (C) 2000 Wiley-Lis s, Inc.
