Abstract
Infrared spectra of an urban aerosol sample selected by an impactor have be
en analysed by using PCA and PLS multivariate analyses. The presence of car
bonates, nitrates, sulphates silicates and ammonium salts have been observe
d. The experimental spectra have been simulated as linear combinations of r
eference spectra.
