Abstract
Analysis of electromechanical devices, such as actuators, often requires co upled modelling of magnetic, electrical and mechanical behaviour. In the pr oposed approach 3D FEM studies are performed for different position and sup ply conditions to get torque and flux linkages to create a lookup table. Th e lookup table is then interpolated to get the values of the request parame ters for a certain set of status variables and with a suitable procedure th e complete set of mechanical and electrical equations is solved. The propos ed procedure has been applied and tested on an industrial device.
