The force of high-T-c superconductors (HTSCs) in an inhomogenous alternatin
g magnetic field has been investigated. Using a new experiment set-up, the
dynamic response of the permanent magnet superconductor interaction has bee
n evaluated for low frequencies and low amplitudes of vibration. A numerica
l model to simulate the previously observed behaviour has also been develop
ed. The calculation method, based on the critical state model, has been ext
ended, taking into account the influence of flux flow.
