Abstract
lIn this paper an optimal V-cycle multigrid method is presented fur the TRU NC plate element. The uniform convergence rate independent of mesh sizes an d levels is established. The method is extended to Bergan's energy-orthogon al plate element. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
