Abstract
The paper describes an implementation of the infinite element for two-dimen sional steady-state Maxwwell's equations, proposed by L. Demkowicz and M. P al (Comput. Meth. Appl. Mech. Engrg., in press). The element is compatible with the hp FE element discretizations for Maxwell's equations in bounded d omains reported in L. Demkowicz and L. Vardapetyan (Comput. Meth. Appl. Mec h. Engrg. 153 (1/2) (1996) 103-124) and W. Rachowicz and L. Demkowicz (Comp ut. Meth. Appl. Mech. Engrg., in press). (C) 2000 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved. MSC: 65N30; 35L15.
