Abstract
An all-active dual-order mode (DOMO) converter is presented which has been assessed experimentally at 10Gbit/s showing almost wavelength-independent p erformance for signal and CW wavelengths covering the entire EDFA window. I n addition, the authors demonstrate, for the first time, wavelength convers ion at 20Gbit/s using this device structure.
