Abstract
In this article GKN Sintered Metals Filters GmbH, reports on a comparison s tudy between a standard sintered metal filter cartridge and its latest meta l membrane filter that has an asymmetric wall configuration. The asymmetric design is said to prevent a high pressure drop during operation, and there by improve the cleaning efficiency of the filter back flush.
