B. Keplin et Rf. Huttl, Determination of soil biological activity of reclaimed mine spoil using the bait lamina-test, FORSTWI CEN, 119(3), 2000, pp. 150-159
The study investigated the soil biological activity of reclaimed mine spoil
using the bait lamina-test. The study sites represent a pine chronosequenc
e with three different stand ages. The bait lamina-test was carried our usi
ng two different mixtures of bait. Answers were sought to the following que
stions: Is the bait lamina-test suitable for the determination of soil biol
ogical activity of reclaimed mine spoil! Are there differences in feeding a
ctivity between the different stand ages and are there differences in feedi
ng activity between the two mixtures of bait?
The results show that the bait-lamina test is suitable for the determinatio
n of soil biological activity of reclaimed mine spoil. The feeding activiti
es increase with stand age. However, there were no significant differences
in feeding activities of the standard-bait mixture and a mixture called,,Fe
rtigko-dermischung".
