Abstract
The structure of (-)-ampelopsin D, hydroxystilbene dimer, was reinvestigate d using spectroscopic methods. Furthermore, the relative and absolute stere ostructures were discussed on the basis of chemical transformation of (+)-e psilon-viniferin to (-)-ampelopsin D.
