Abstract
The uranyl complexes UO2(NO3)(2)L-2 (L = DPEPA (1) diphenyl-N,N-ethylphosph ine amide and TPPPO (2) tripiperidine oxide) have been prepared. Spectrosco pic studies indicate that L is bound to the uranyl group via the phosphoryl oxygen atom. The crystal structures of (1) and (2) show a hexagonal-bipyra midal coordination about uranium. The luminescence properties of the compou nds have been also investigated. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
