Abstract
We study the spectral properties of non-self-adjoint linear pencils A - lam bda B of bounded operators with discrete spectrum where B is not necessaril y bijective. The main results concern the minimality, completeness and basi s properties of the corresponding eigenvectors and associated vectors.
