Abstract
Secular variations in the angular elements of the geomagnetic field were de termined in the first terrace deposits of the Kostenki section (28-19 ka), Don River. The inferred periods agree well with the periods derived the Yan giyul section (53-22 ka), Central Asia and from archaeomagnetic data.
