Abstract
In this paper, an exactly solved model for the emission by N atoms is prese nted, the spontaneous and induced transition rates obtained, are enhanced b y a factor which is proportional to the number of atoms n in the volume lam bda(3)/(2 pi(2)) (lambda is the transition wavelength of the atom) and depe ndent on the de-Broglie wavelength lambda(B) in a more complicated way.
