The magnetoimpedance (MI) effect in NiFeMoMn supermalloy ribbon, as well as
the magnetoresistance and magnetoreactance, are investigated as the functi
ons of the de magnetic field and ac driving current frequency. The longitud
inal MI reaches 44% in 65 Oe at 0.2 MHz but the transverse effect is small
(< 2%). The MI effect is discussed in terms of the magnetic permeability. (
