Abstract
Rhodotorula has been an infrequent cause of infection in humans but there h ave been some case reports about this systemic yeast infection. In this art icle, a Rhodotorula rubra fungaemia due to an indwelling catheter in a 23-y ear-old woman who had been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma grade IV B is described.
