Abstract
In this paper we present a detail theoretical analysis of effects of phase mismatch and losses on phonon squeezing and quantum nondemolition measureme nts in the detection of hypersonic phonon by squeezed light. The analysis r eported here extends our previous calculation for perfect phase matching an d no losses cases, and shows that squeezing and quantum nondemolition measu rements of quadrature of phonon mode can be realized for smaller phase mism atch and losses under certain conditions.
