Abstract
The preparation of linear polyamine bolaphiles via a highly efficient and rapid synthetic strategy avoiding column chromatography is describ ed. Cyclization of these compounds affords a ready access to macrocycl ic polyamine bolaphiles. This approach represents a significant improv ement over the original synthetic protocol.
