R. Mosheim et al., Quality of attachment and interpersonal problems as possible predictors ofinpatient-therapy outcome, PSYCHOTHERA, 45(4), 2000, pp. 223-229
The aim of the study was to predict the psychotherapy-outcome in 65 inpatie
nts with psychosomatic disorders by the "Erwachsenen-Bindungsprototypen-Rat
ing - EBPR (i.e. Adult Attachement-Prototypes Rating) - Strauss u. Lobo-Dro
st" and by interpersonal problems (IIP; Horowitz). Only attachment security
(but none of the attachment prototypes) was a weak but significant predict
or of individual therapeutic goal attainment. Premature breaking off, anoth
er outcome criterium, was significantly correlated with "autocratic" interpe
rsonal behavior.
