The phonon density of states g(E) of solid parahydrogen is determined
from the inelastic incoherent neutron scattering and total cross-secti
on versus energy measurements at pressures up to 1.06 GPa. The very an
harmonic phonon spectra with long ''tails'' and integral parameters ve
rsus density were obtained. The role of zero-point vibrations in latti
ce dynamics of p-H-2 quantum crystal remains significant in the invest
igated region, over which its density is almost doubled.
