Abstract
The lattice dynamics of KH2PO4 was studied at 30 K at ambient pressure (ferroelectric phase) and a pressure of 20 kbar (paraelectric phase). Dramatic changes in the spectra are discussed in the context of the m echanism of ferroelectric phase transition.
