Hydrozirconation of acetylenic :stannanes 1 affords gem-tannazirconocene al kenes 2. Intermediates 2 are treated with acyl halides to obtain (Z)-alpha- organostannyl-alpha,beta-unsaturated carbonyl compounds 3 vin-Zr-Cu transme tallation.
