Abstract
A series of 2-heterocyclicalkylthiooxazolo[4,5-b]pyridines have been prepar ed through the reaction of 2-(hydrazinocarbomethylthio)oxazolo[4,5-b]pyridi ne with the appropriate reagents. 2-Ethylthiooxazolo[4,5-b]pyridine has bee n successfully employed to synthesize some fused- triheterocyclic compounds .
