Abstract
Quenched aqueous solution of Fe(ClO4)(2) was investigated by neutron s mall-angle scattering (SANS). Several phase transitions were observed in the range of -180 degrees C to 0 degrees C. The results obtained in dicated the presence of inhomogeneities in the sample volume, the size of which did not change, but their number increased drastically after the transitions.
