Abstract
The structures of the micelles in the APFO/0.5 molal NH4Cl system have been studied. It is found that with increasing weight fraction w of A PFO a gradual change from rod- to disk-like micelles occurs. At w less than or equal to 0.05, all APFO is present in rod-like micelles with radius 1.6 nm and length in excess of 30 nm. Whilst at w = 0.25 only d isk-like micelles occur with thickness 3.2 nm and radius 2.6 nm.
