Abstract
The anal sacs of 18 foxes, 10 male and 8 female from the period 1997 to 199
9 were morphometrically investigated. The lengths of the anal sacs, their n
eck diameters, and the volumes (Table) were determined. The estimated ages
of the animals ranged between 1 and 10 years. The measured data increased w
ith age. No differences between the sexes were observed.
