Abstract
The influence criticism doubts that education can be referred to as linked to influence. Contrary to this skepticism it is meant to be demonstrated th at any effective educational process unavoidably influences those to be edu cated, regardless which educational styles or methods are employed and whic h educational goals they serve. Education consists of attempts of exercisin g influence. Even free education which corresponds to the principle of "acc ompanying mental development" inevitably aims at influencing people.
