Abstract
The capabilities of polarized neutron reflection (PNR) for directly de termining the magnetic and non-magnetic structure in magnetic multilay ers and superlattices aw reviewed. We discuss examples of studies of t he layer-dependent moments and spin orientations in various single fil ms, exchange coupled trilayers and superlattices based on transition m etal ferromagnetic layers.
