Changbaishan Tianchi volcano being one of the most famous volcanoes in the world is an active volcano with the largest scale and potential danger in m odern history. At present, lots of works have been done and the accurate C- 14 dating data have been obtained on the latest large eruption of Changbais han Tianchi volcano. But they havn't been confirmed by the historical recor ds. By collecting, consulting, arranging, screening, textual researching an d analysing the huge amount historical data, we discoverd the record of Cha ngbaishan Tianchi volcano over 1199 similar to 1200AD large eruption on the first time, which has important significance on the study of Changbaishan Tianchi volcano future eruption danger.
