Abstract
We assessed the prognostic value of total and differential white blood cell counts in patients with unstable angina. Our findings showed that the lymp hocyte count had a strong inverse relation to the risk of future serious ca rdiac events, and we conclude that in patients with unstable angina, low ly mphocyte count is associated with higher cardiovascular risk.
