Abstract
The effectiveness of etilefrine in tilt-induced neurocardiogenic syncope wa s assessed in a single-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial. Intrave nous etilefrine was found to be safe and significantly more effective than placebo in resolving the hemodynamic impairment induced by head-up tilt tes ting in patients with neurocardiogenic syncope.
