Abstract
The effectiveness of a floating slab track system to stationary harmonic lo ads and moving harmonic loads are investigated in this paper by using the r eceptance method. The results show that the floating slab track system is e ffective in reducing the forces transmitted at frequencies above the design ed frequency compared to the fixed slab track system.
