Abstract
A new neutron resonance spin-echo (NRSE) spectrometer, also called zer o-field NSE, tvas set up at BENSC Berlin. One advantage of the NRSE te chnique is that it is easily adapted to use the tilted field technique for high-resolution measurement of phonon line widths, Features of th e spectrometer and first results from the measurement of excitation li ne widths in superfluid He-4 are discussed.
