Abstract
We examined the effects of 5 alpha-androst-16-en-3 alpha-ol (3 alpha-andros tenol) on pulsatile luteinizing hormone (LH) secretion in human females. Th e frequency of the LH pulse in the follicular phase was decreased by exposi ng the women to 3 alpha-androstenol.
