Abstract
In addition to the well-known quantum numbers, the total spin as a good qua ntum number has also been introduced to classify the eigenstates of the H-3 (+)-like systems. The degeneracy of the ground state and the structures of the ground rotation bands have been deduced based on an ab initio symmetry consideration.
