Exact error probability for slow frequency hopping

In this paper a frequency hopping multiple access packet communication netw ork was considered. The channel was assumed to be slotted and frame synchro nous. Reed-Solomon codes were used both for protocol sequences and forward error correction. The exact probability of decoding error is given. A usefu l Gaussian approximation was computed, which led to a simple design of the system's parameters.
